CFIP 106/108

OVERVIEW

Intended for IP networks providing Fast Ethernet interface. CFIP-106/108 is primarily designed for IP networks and provides Fast Ethernet interface with capacities from 8 Mbps up to full duplex 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet. In addition to that, CFIP-108 has a 4xE1 port for legacy equipment connectivity and for use in hybrid TDM/IP networks.

Compact All-outdoor Form Factor

Managed Fast Ethernet switch, high performance modem and radio of CFIP 106/108 are built into a small form factor all-outdoor radio casing, making it ideal for hybrid wireless network installations with Ethernet and E1 connectivity.

Antennas

SAF Tehnika offers full spectrum of high quality directional solid (grid – where applicable) parabolic antennas of all commercially available sizes and frequencies made by world’s leading manufacturers. All standard antennas are fully integrated for use with radio units manufactured by SAF Tehnika. We also offer all kinds of passive components, such as couplers (integrated/stand-alone), OMTs, four-way transducers, for aggregated and protected links, as well as antennas and accessories (flexible waveguides, remote-mounting brackets, flange-to-N adapters, coaxial cables etc) for solutions where direct mounting of SAF radios is not provided. To select an appropriate antenna according to your climate zone and many other parameters, please, contact your sales representative.

CFIP 106/108

OVERVIEW

Intended for Gigabit Ethernet backbone applications. CFIP Lumina systems are delivering up to 366 Mbps per radio. 2+0 aggregation is available for higher bandwidth users. Both single or dual, electrical and fibre optical interface versions are available, as well as hybrid version with 1 optical and 1 electrical port.

Modem with ACM and ATPC support, Ethernet switch with fibre-optical ports and high performance radio – all built into very compact single enclosure. Good link performance with smaller antennas, shelter/cabinet-free site installation result in lower total cost of ownership comparing to alternative legacy setups.

Flexible network configuration

With two Gigabit Ethernet ports it is possible to use Lumina in various network topologies (for instance, ring, repeater chain) and configurations (aggregation, link protection, port-separated management).
